Faith Transforms Life
Jan 22, 2026: 1 pm ET/ 12 pm CT/ 11 am MT/ 10 am PT

Join us for an engaging and inspiring presentation on John Wesley, founder of the Methodist movement and preacher of God’s transforming grace. Through story, theology, and reflection, we will explore how Wesley’s faith was shaped, challenged, and ultimately set ablaze by God’s love.
We’ll also hear from Charles Wesley, whose hymns gave voice to a faith that still sings today.
In this talk, you will learn:
  • How John Wesley’s early life and spiritual discipline prepared him for a transforming encounter with God
  • What Wesley meant by a heart “strangely warmed,” and why that moment still matters
  • How God’s grace works before, within, and beyond us through prevenient, justifying, and sanctifying grace
  • Why Wesley believed faith must be lived out through compassion, justice, and service
  • How small groups, accountability, and community shaped the Methodist movement
  • How Charles Wesley’s hymns express theology through poetry, prayer, and song
  • Why John Wesley’s vision of faith continues to speak to the church today
This talk invites us to consider:
  • How God’s grace works in every stage of life
  • What it means to live a faith of heart, mind, and action
  • How holiness becomes love lived out in the world
Come and discover why John Wesley still matters—and why hearts can still be “strangely warmed.”
