Louise has been associated with the ISHA Program since 2007, first as a student, then as a Certified Practitioner and an Instructor. As an ordained Minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) she understands the important role that healing plays in the spiritual health of both individuals, and for the whole Body of Christ. We live in a world that calls out for healing, caretaking, and understanding. Louise also seeks to build bridges between various groups of people, teaching World Religion at a local community college and participating in interfaith endeavors. She is a teacher of meditation and spiritual growth practices. Louise has volunteered with a local interfaith food pantry and she currently serves as the Chair of the Pantry Board. She has been married for over 35 years to Galen Goben, a grief-support expert, and together they have three sons.
